Short Description:

Girboiu Winery is a family business founded in 2005 that owns a wide area of about 200 hectares in Cotesti, Vrance Co. Climate conditions are favourable and the soil is known to be rich in minerals. The hills are situated at an altitude between 150 şi 200 m. Girboiu Winery is composed of native vines such as Sarba, Plavaie, Feteasca Regala, Feteasca Alba, Feteasca Neagra, and the international ones like Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling Italico, Muscat Ottonel, Gewurztraminer, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir.

The storage warehouse has a capacity of 2 million liters and the maceration and fermentation of the wines is done in stainless steel vessels at controlled temperatures. Maturation is done in French wooden barrels.
