Short description:
Macin Winery was founded in 2002. Its main activity is the production of wine, bottling and marketing. Alcovin is a member of the Asociaţia Profesionala Vitivinicola Colinele Dobrogei (member ONIV) and has implemented the food safety management system based on HACCP principles ever since it was founded.
The company has about 300 hectares of vines, half of the surface being positioned in the Cerna area, in the area located between "Macin Mountains National Park" and "Reserve Forest Hill Chervant", the other half being on Carcaliu hill, in an area protected in the European network - site "Natura 2000". Processing and storage capacity is about 2,300 tons. The wines produced here are supplied both bottled (glass bottles 0,75 l and bag-in-box) and in bulk for both the internal market as well as the external one.
Since October 27, 2011, the company Alcovin has been the official supplier of the Royal House of Romania.
