Historical details:
Viile Metamorphosis winery was built in 1949 and belonged to a state company Vinalcool Prahova. It was purchased by Vitis Metamorphosis in December 2009. In 2010 obtain European modernization funds and has been completely renovated and refurbish between 2012 and 2014. Vitis Metamorphosis represents the combination of 26 generation of tradition in the wine world of the Antinori family together with Rista family.
Technical details:
The endowment with modern technology meant to preserve the primary aromas of the cultivated grape varieties blends harmoniously with the small and large capacity oak barrels, used especially for red wine ripening. In addition to barrels the winery also has stainless steel and concrete vessels.
The capacity of the winery is 1.450.000 litres and is equipped with a bottling line of 2000 bottles/h.
