Short description: Ferdi Winery is a boutique-premium winery, offering to wine lovers the opportunity of tasting an exclusively handmade wine in very limited editions. The wine-making process is a long standing one, taking into account that red wines are aged, from 1 to 2 years, in American, French and Romanian oak barrels, renewed every 3 to 4 years. The vineyard is located on the sunny slopes of Dealu Mare wine region, having a 3 hectares area and is 10 years old. The owner is also the winemaker, following the motto that quality wine has its origins in the vines, where grapes selection begins. As a result, the winery produces wine from 10 grape varieties, of which 7 red: Feteasca Neagra, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Shiraz, Merlot, Blaufrankisch, Pinot Noir and 3 white: Sauvignon Blanc, Tamaioasa Romaneasca and Italian Riesling, the annual report being under 10.000 bottles. Ferdi Wines are well-known for their unique and intense texture, acidity and elegance. Making wine with the traditional method results in a range of balanced and refined wines.
