Short description:

Samburesti vineyard is located in the southern part of the country, 44°48″ north latitude and 24°48″ south longitude, 30 km away from the Dragasani vineyard and due to its settlement holds a privileged position. Samburesti vineyard spans across the territory of three municipalities, located in the northern part of Olt County: Dobroteasa, Samburesti and Vitomiresti.

Although the amount of precipitation falling is low, due to the vineyard’s proximity to the Olt Valley and to existing currents in the area, the humidity remains at great parameters. The quality of the wine here depends on the main characteristics of the soil and Samburesti was blessed with excellent soils. The terroir of Samburesti has been endowed with exceptional qualities that make it ideal for vinification.
