Courtesy of the APEV (Association of Romanian Wine Exporters), 21 Romanian wineries will present the diversity and excellence of Romanian wine production.

21 Romanian wineries, each offering a unique perspective on Romania's winemaking heritage, from traditional vineyards nestled in historic regions to innovative estates pushing the boundaries of quality and innovation, the participants represent one of the best of Romanian wine craftsmanship.
Among them are Domeniile Franco-Române, Domeniile Averești, Domeniile Sâmburești, Crama Rasova, Aurelia Visinescu Wines, Domeniile Averești, Budureasca, Crama Metsmorfosis, and many more, collectively presenting over 200 wines for tasting and exploration.
Exclusive event and masterclass at ProWein Dusseldorf 2024:
- March 10, 11:00-12:00, Hall 1/C69: Podcast held by Mihnea Ioan Olariu with insights about the unique terroirs, grape varieties, and winemaking techniques that define Romania's winemaking landscape.
- March 11, 12:00-13:00, Hall 13/Forum 13.1: Masterclass held Valentin Ceafalau about the nuances of three iconic Romanian grape varieties - Fetească Albă, Fetească Neagră, and Fetească Regală.

Who is APEV Romania
APEV Romania, the Wine Exporters’ and Producers’ Association of Romania, groups the most important wine exporters of the country, who hold together around 70% of the total Romanian wine export in value terms. Its members hold also a share of around 70% of the domestic market.
APEV Romania was set up in 2001 as a non-profit legal entity, meant to represent, defend and promote its members' rights and interests, both locally and internationally. Its mission is to act as a generic promotional body for all “Wines of Romania” and for Romania as a top enotourism destination in Europe. Moreover, the organisation provide a wide range of professional business support services that add value to member activities and thus help them consolidate their position as respected members of the international wine community.
